MMDA announces road closures on March 22-25


The Metropolitan Manila Development Council on Friday announced the temporary road closures that will take place over the weekend due to road reblocking and repair activities to be conducted by the Department of Public Works and Highways.

In an advisory posted on its social media account, MMDA said the following roads will be closed from Mar. 22, 11 p.m., until Mar. 25, 5 a.m.:

  • EDSA NB Balintawak entrance of Service Road (2nd lane), Caloocan City
  • EDSA NB Balintawak before Footbridge (2nd lane), Caloocan City
  • Tandang Sora Avenue from Commonwealth Avenue going to C-5, Quezon City
  • Bonny Serrano Avenue WB between 1st West Crame and 2nd Avenue, Quezon City
  • Pedro Gil cor. Taft Avenue (2nd lane), Manila City
  • EDSA SB J.P. Rizal Avenue to Orense (3rd lane from sidewalk), Makati City
  • EDSA NB between General Malvar Street to D. Arellano Street (3rd lane from sidewalk), Caloocan City
  • EDSA Balintawak SB (infront of newly constructed global oil), Quezon City
  • EDSA Balintawak SB (Rigid KKK Heavy Equipment & Supply), Quezon City
  • Commonwealth Avenue, Landbank to Elliptical Road (2nd lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
  • West Avenue, Ligaya Street to Del Monte Ave. (1st lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
  • Batasan Commmonwealth Tunnel, Filinvest 1 Road to fronting Sandigan (1st lane from plantbox), Quezon City
  • EDSA SB Greenhills 2nd District along EDSA near MG Motor (2nd lane), San Juan City
  • EDSA SB Greenhills 2nd District along EDSA infront of Jaguar (2nd lane), San Juan City
  • EDSA SB Greenhills 2nd District along EDSA near Connecticut Street (2nd lane), San Juan City
  • EDSA SB Wack- Wack Greenhills East 1st District along EDSA near Parchouse (2nd lane), Mandaluyong City
  • EDSA SB Wack- Wack Greenhills East 1st District along EDSA near PGA Cars (Bike lane), Mandaluyong City
  • EDSA SB Wack- Wack Greenhills East 1st District along EDSA near Securities & Exchange Commission (Bike lane), Mandaluyong City.

The affected roads will reopen and will be fully passable on Mar. 25.
