MMDA announces May 24-27 road closures, repairs

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority on Friday announced closures and repairs on major Metro Manila roads over the weekend.

The MMDA said the Department of Public Works and Highways roadwork would start at 11 p.m. on May 24 along the following sections of road:

• Regalado Avenue NB (inner lane) going to North Caloocan, Quezon City
• G. Araneta Avenue, Mauban Street to Santo Domingo Avenue (1st lane from center), Quezon City
• Congressional Avenue Exit in front of Game 7 Restaurant (truck lane), Quezon City
• Payatas Road Samar Street to Leyte Street (outer lane), Quezon City
• Commonwealth Avenue, Luzon Avenue to Central Avenue (54th lane from the sidewalk), Quezon City
• North Avenue NB before Senador Mirriam P. Defensor- Santiago Avenue (3rd lane from the sidewalk), Quezon City
• Santo Domingo Avenue, N.S. Amoranto to Scout Alcaraz (1st lane from the sidewalk), Quezon City
• Tandang Sora Avenue from corner Commonwealth Avenue to after Road 1, Quezon City
• EDSA SB J.P. Rizal Avenue to Orense between Cloverleaf and Bernardino Street, Makati City
• Fairview Avenue, Regalado to Quirino Highway (4th lane from the sidewalk), Quezon City
• Along EDSA SB near L. Woods Street, Pasay City
• Taft Avenue, Quirino Avenue to MRT Baclaran (inner lane), Pasay City
• After Roxas Blvd. SB EDSA Flyover (2nd lane), Parañaque City

The road sections would be reopened and be fully passable by 5 a.m. on May 27.
