Some sea trips suspended on July 23, 2024 due to Typhoon Carina, Habagat

The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) on Tuesday announced the suspension of several trips due to heavy rains and moderate to rough seas brought by Typhoon Carina, Tropical Cyclone Buchoy, and the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat.
In an advisory, PPA announced the following suspended trips on July 23, 2024:
Port Management Office (PMO) Bicol
- Terminal Management Office (TMO) Camarines - MV "Virgen de Peñafrancia Tres Reyes", Starhorse Shipping Lines, Inc.
- TMO Pio Duran - MV "Cataingan", Kho Shipping Lines, Inc. (KSLI); LCT "JSC 3" (Balud Star), KSLI.
- TMO Bulan bound to Ticao Island, Masbate
- Port of San Andres, Catanduanes bound to Tabaco Albay
- TMO Tabaco bound to San Andres, Catanduanes
PMO Masbate
- MASBATE - PILAR, V.V.
- FASTCRAFT - Montenegro Shipping lines
- MOBO - PASACAO, V.V.
- LCT Mobo - Kho Shipping Lines
- SAN PASCUAL - PASACAO, V.V.
- Virgen de Peñafrancia - Starhorse Shipping Lines
- SAN PASCUAL - SAN ANDRES, V.V.
- Virgen de Peñafrancia - Starhorse Shipping Lines

- Lite Ferries - San Carlos to Toledo, Cebu
- E.B. Aznar Shipping Corporation (EBASCO) - San Carlos to Toledo, Cebu
- NaviMar Shipping Services - Pulupandan to Sibunag, Guimaras
The PPA also said passengers were stranded in 83 ports in Bicol, Davao and Masbate.
