PNR to have regular ops on Maundy Thursday, Easter Sunday

The Philippine National Railways (PNR) said it will have regular operations on Maundy Thursday, April 17 and on Easter Sunday, April 20 to cater travelers going to provinces this Holy Week. 

Here are the schedule of trips on the said dates: 

Inter-provincial Commuter Train

• Lucena to Calamba | 5:00 AM
• Calamba to Lucena | 5:45 PM

Bicol Commuter Train

• Naga to Sipocot – 5:20 AM | 10:40 AM | 3:30 PM
• Sipocot to Naga – 6:50 AM | 12:10 PM | 5:35 PM
• Legazpi to Naga – 4:30 AM
• Naga to Legazpi – 5:30 PM

Meanwhile, PNR will suspend its operations on Good Friday, April 18 until Black Saturday, April 19 to give way for maintenance activities. 

The PNR initially announced that it will suspend operations from Maundy Thursday until Easter Sunday, resuming operations on Monday, April 21, just like the other train systems in the country. —Vince Angelo Ferreras/RF, GMA Integrated News
