Canceled sea trips on Wednesday, July 23, 2025

The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, announced that several trips were canceled due to rough sea conditions amid inclement weather.

The canceled sea trips are as follows:

Port Management Office (PMO) Bohol

• Terminal Management Office Gefate: LCT CORDOVA 11 a.m.

• Port of Gefate: Clemer 88 6:15 a.m./ 1:15 p.m.

• Port of Gafete: Sunriser 2 - (Gefate-Cordova 12:00 noon /4 p.m.)

 

PMO Zamboanga

• Port of Zamboanga: MV Prince Majesty due to engine maintenance

 

PMO Masbate

• Masbate - Pilar, V. V.

All fastcraft

Montenegro Shipping Lines Inc.

• Aroroy - Pio Duran, V.V.

MV Olivia 1

Silverstone Goldrich Shipping Inc. 

• San Pascual - Pasacao, V.V.

The PPA clarified that it “does not cancel trips,” adding that trips are automatically canceled if the Philippine Coast Guard issues a “no sail policy” based on the weather forecast of PAGASA.

It added that shipping lines may also cancel trips subject to compliance with the terms of their Certificate of Public Convenience issued by the Maritime Industry Authority. —Ted Cordero/VBL, GMA Integrated News
