Road reblocking underway at C5 Libis northbound in Quezon City

Traffic on the northbound lane of C5 Road near the Eastwood, Libis area of Quezon City was hampered Saturday morning by road reblocking activities.

According to a report by Carlo Mateo on Super Radyo dzBB, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) issued an advisory for motorists regarding the road repairs at the site.

As of posting time, two inner lanes (northbound) near the center island were occupied by cement mixers that have been deployed for the reblocking work.

Meanwhile, Super Radyo dzBB noted the emergence of potholes and mud along C5 Road following the recent heavy rains, including Tropical Storm Isang which exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Saturday morning.

While Isang was expected to still cause rains over many parts of the country, the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat was also seen affect other areas parts of Luzon, Metro Manila, and even areas in Visayas and Mindanao. — VDV, GMA Integrated News
