NAIA-3 power interruption scheduled starting 11:55 p.m., Sept. 10, 2025

The private operator of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) has announced a scheduled power interruption at the airport’s Terminal 3 from late Wednesday night to early Thursday morning.

In an advisory, the New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) said Meralco Energy, Inc. (MSERV) would carry out scheduled maintenance work at the NAIA 3’s North Concourse from 11:55 p.m. on September 10, 2025 to 6 a.m. on September 11.

“This activity is part of a previously postponed maintenance schedule to help ensure a stable and reliable power supply in the terminal,” the airport operator said.

NNIC said that there may be brief power interruptions in the area while the maintenance work is ongoing.

“Backup generators will be activated to keep essential systems and safety services running,” NNIC said.

“As always, we thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to improve your airport experience,” it added. –NB, GMA Integrated News
