Canceled flights on Sept. 23-24, 2025

A dozen domestic and international flights were canceled from September 23 to 24 due to “unfavorable weather conditions” following the onslaught of Super Typhoon Nando and the southwest monsoon (Habagat).

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said the following flights were canceled:

 

September 23, 2025

Philippine Airlines

• PR 2688: Clark – Basco

• PR2689: Basco–Clark

• PR306: Manila – Hong Kong

• PR307: Hong Kong–Manila

• PR330: Manila – Xiamen

• PR331: Xiamen–Manila

 

September 24, 2025

Philippine Airlines 

• PR300: Manila – Hong Kong

• PR301: Hong Kong – Manila

• PR306: Manila - Hong Kong

• PR307: Hong Kong–Manila

• PR310: Manila – Hong Kong

• PR311: Hong Kong - Manila

Meanwhile, CAAP said that no damage was reported in airports under its operation following the onslaught of Nando.

In particular, the agency said its airports in Basco, Tuguegarao, Cauayan, Laoag, and Baguio reported no damage, “with all facilities and runways remaining safe and fully operational.”

The CAAP said a total of 40 flights have been disrupted since Sunday, September 21, 2025.

“CAAP assures the public that flight safety and airport operations continue to be closely monitored,” it said. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
