LIST: Canceled flights on January 16, 2026 due to Tropical Storm Ada


Several flights were canceled on Friday, January 16, 2026, due to inclement weather brought by Tropical Storm Ada.

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said a total of 16 flights were cancelled, affecting 1,008 passengers. 

The canceled flights are as follows:

  • DG6851: Cebu - Siargao 
  • DG6850: Siargao - Cebu 
  • DG6857: Cebu – Siargao
  • DG6858: Siargao - Cebu
  • DG6861: Cebu - Siargao
  • DG6862: Siargao - Cebu
  • DG6855: Cebu - Siargao
  • DG6856: Siargao - Cebu
  • DG6853: Cebu – Siargao
  • DG6854: Siargao - Cebu
  • DG6859: Cebu – Siargao
  • DG6860: Siargao - Cebu
  • DG6871: Siargao – Davao
  • DG6872: Davao – Siargao
  • DG6759: Clark – Siargao
  • DG6760: Siargao – Clark

“Meanwhile, Bicol International Airport, Tacloban Airport, Ormoc Airport, Biliran Airport, Maasin Airport, Hilongos Airport, Catarman Airport, Catbalogan Airport, Borongan Airport, Guiuan Airport, Calbayog Airport, Butuan Airport, Surigao Airport, Ozamiz Airport, Camiguin Airport, Tandag Airport, and Bislig Airport remain operational,” CAAP said.

“No damage to airport facilities has been reported and airport personnel are on standby alert to ensure continuous and safe operations,” it added.

CAAP said it continues to closely monitor weather conditions and airport operations in coordination with relevant government agencies and airline operators, reiterating that the safety and security of passengers remain its top priority. —LDF, GMA Integrated News
