Train removal causes heavy passenger volume at some MRT-3 stations

Some MRT-3 stations are experiencing moderate to heavy passenger traffic on Thursday afternoon due to train removal.
In an advisory posted on Facebook, the DOTr-MRT3 said 16 trains are running along the line as of 5 p.m. of April 23.
Authorities apologized for the inconvenience caused by the train removal and appealed for passengers’ patience and understanding.
“Rest assured that crowd management measures are being actively implemented to ensure passenger safety,” the DOTr-MRT3 said.
“Train deployment is likewise being managed to better serve mainline operations,” it added. — JMA, GMA News
