Declarations suspending classes in Guagua, CamSur on Monday lifted
The local governments of Guagua, Pampanga and Camarines Sur province on Sunday lifted their respective declarations suspending classes in all levels due to the scheduled transport strike on Monday.
Guagua Muncipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office's Carlito Nicdao made the announced over radio dzBB, hours after organizers canceled the two-day transport strike.
On Twitter, the provincial government of Camarines Sur also announced that the suspensions of classes and government work in the province are lifted due to the cancellation of the transport strike.

The scheduled nationwide transport strike on December 4-5, 2017 has been cancelled. As such, suspension of classes and work in government offices in Camsur shall also be lifted. Please be guided accordingly.
The Pinagkaisang Samahan ng mga Tsuper at Operators Nationwide said the strike was canceled to make way for the Senate public service committee's emergency hearing set for Thursday on the government's public utility vehicle modernization program.
The group said that instead of a strike, they will conduct a transport caravan or simply conduct a protest march in Manila on Monday. —ALG, GMA News
