Several areas in Mindanao suspended classes on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, following the magnitude 6.4 earthquake that rocked Tulunan, Cotabato shortly past 9 a.m.

• General Santos City — pre-school to post-graduate, private and public
• Samal Island — all levels, private and public
• Davao City — all levels
• Malabang, Lanao del Sur — all levels (afternoon classes)
