Class suspensions for Thursday, May 2, 2024

Face-to-face classes in some areas for Thursday, May 2, 2024 have been suspended due to extreme heat conditions.

Schools in these areas have been advised to shift to asynchronous classes or alternative learning modalities. In the areas where private schools are not specified, the suspension of in-person classes is left to the discretion of school authorities.

• Muntinlupa City - kinder to Grade 12, public (May 2-3)

• Pasay City - all levels, public and private (May 2-3)
• Quezon City - heat index forecast to reach 40°; face-to-face classes in public schools automatically suspended when heat index reaches 40°
• Valenzuela City - kinder to Grade 12, public (May 2-3)

• Bacoor City, Cavite - all levels, public and private (May 2-3)
