Classes for Wednesday, August 5, 2026, have been suspended in some areas due to the effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat):

Metro Manila

Caloocan City - no afternoon classes, shift to asynchronous classes, all levels (public and private)

Malabon City - no afternoon classes, all levels (public and private)

Mandaluyong City - no face-to-face classes, shift to modular and asynchronous learning, Pre-School to Grade 12 including ALS, public and private

Manila - no face-to-face classes, shift to Alternative Delivery Mode, Kindergarten to Senior High School (public and private)

Marikina City - no afternoon classes/second shift, all levels (public and private)

Navotas City - no afternoon classes, shift to Alternative Delivery Mode, Kindergarten to Senior High School (public and private)

Parañaque City - no afternoon classes, all levels (public and private)

Quezon City - no afternoon classes, Child Development Centers/Kindergarten/Grades 1-12/Alternative Learning System, shift to Alternative Delivery Modes of Learning (Synchronous / Asynchronous), public schools
