Alden Richards, Bianca Umali, more Kapuso stars show support for 'Saving Cherry' premiere
Several Kapuso stars came out to show their support for the cast of "Saving Cherry" during its star-studded premiere night held at a mall in Quezon City on Tuesday.
Among those who attended the event were Alden Richards, Bianca Umali, Will Ashley, Ashley Ortega, Roxie Smith, Michael Sager, Matt Lozano, Lee Victor, Ashley Sarmiento, and Chloe Redondo.
Aside from Kapuso stars, the film's cast members Barbie Forteza, Mikee Quintos, Mika Salamanca, Khalil Ramos, and Kokoy De Santos also graced the premiere night.
According to Barbie, her character in the movie is her most mature role to date.
"Actually, it was fun because let's admit it, not everyone who acts nice is actually nice, so I did not expect that I would have that kind of side. Wild but with reason, with depth, and most of all, I think this is my most mature role so far because it tackles marriage," she said in Filipino.
Directed by Ivan Andrew Payawal, "Saving Cherry" will premiere in cinemas on September 2.
