Michael Sager gears up for 'The Way Back to You' with AZ Martinez, Ralph De Leon

Michael Sager is gearing up for his upcoming series “The Way Back to You,” where he will star alongside AZ Martinez and Ralph De Leon.

On the sidelines of Preview Ball 2026, Michael told GMA News Online that he is particularly excited about the Viu project and has already started preparing for his role.

“That series really excites me. It’s a project that I’m really excited to do. And speaking of, we’ve been working on it,” he said.

The Sparkle star shared that he recently attended several workshops as part of his preparation for the series.

“I just had a few workshops, really preparing for my character in this show. I’m already so excited to portray that character and for everyone to see ‘The Way Back To You,’” Michael said.

He described the upcoming series as a romantic comedy with elements of drama.

“The Way Back To You” will follow a love triangle involving Julia (AZ), Tristan (Ralph), and Patrick (Michael).

Set in a fictional provincial town known for its onion farms, the story explores the pull between first love and present-day relationships as the characters reconnect with people and places from their past.

AZ, Ralph, and Michael were part of the first “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.”

AZ and Ralph also previously starred in “The Secrets of Hotel 88,” while AZ and Michael starred in the film “Opposites Almost Attract.” —JCB, GMA News
