AC Bonifacio says Michael Sager was not involved in breakup with Harvey Bautista

AC Bonifacio has nothing but kind words for her fellow "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" housemate and "Born to Shine" co-star Michael Sager.

On "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on Tuesday, the actress and dancer emphasized that they are "really good friends."

"We both found out that we're both from Vancouver and you know how it's really hard to find someone that you get close with in an industry like this," AC said.

She added that they kept the friendship from PBB until now, "and it's strictly just been that."

AC said that she, Michael, and Zephanie have a love triangle of sorts currently happening on "Born to Shine," but they remain professional about it.

"We love our craft, we love what we're doing, and we're just entertaining," AC said.

Later in the show, AC also said that Michael was not involved in her breakup with Harvey Bautista.

"He was probably a conversation during one time in our two years and that was it, never again," AC said.

"That's life," she added when the breakup was brought up.

AC and Michael grew close during their time in PBB. It was also on the reality show where AC revealed that she was dating Harvey.

AC currently stars in "Born to Shine" as Kendall, the leader of the girl group Nixi. Her group has a rivalry with Yumi.

"Born to Shine" airs at 2:30 p.m. from Monday to Saturday on GMA Afternoon Prime. —Nika Roque/MGP, GMA News
