Dennis Trillo wraps up filming for 'Amir'

Dennis Trillo has wrapped up filming for his upcoming film “Amir.”

On Facebook, the Kapuso actor shared a 12-second clip showing the title page of his script for the movie, along with a short message marking the end of production.

In the caption, Dennis said in Filipino, “It’s a wrap! I’m excited for you to watch this."

He also used the hashtags #Amir and #MMFF2026 in his post.

"Amir" is among the entries to the Metro Manila Film Festival 2026 and features the same stellar team as "Green Bones": Director Zig Dulay, and the screenwriting tandem of National Artist Ricky Lee and Anj Atienza.

It is a collaboration between GMA Pictures, GMA Public Affairs, and Brightburn Entertainment, the production company owned by Dennis and his wife Jennylyn Mercado.

“Amir” also stars Argus Aspiras, Will Ashley, and Glaiza De Castro.
