Mika Salamanca says she accepts criticism on her acting in 'The Secrets of Hotel 88'
Mika Salamanca is all for accepting constructive criticism.
In the latest episode of "Your Honor," the Sparkle star said she knew about the comments about her acting on the series, "The Secrets of Hotel 88."
"My acting was really bad when it came out on TV," she said in Filipino. "That was also what I saw."
Mika also said that she has friends who are great actors like Will Ashley and Xyriel Manabat, who comfort her and tell her that her acting is OK. But she is still her biggest critic.
"So I saw the final edit and it was bad. I saw the comments of other people and I accepted what they said that I am not good at acting and that I shouldn't be part of this series," she said.
"My face is full of botox that's why I can't cry, they say," she added.
Mika said that instead of wallowing in the hurt, she decided to go to acting workshops and receive help from her actor friends.
"I think I can say that I can do it a bit," she said, and added that she wants to show her better skills.
Mika recently appeared in the film "Saving Cherry," which was top-billed by Barbie Forteza. Other cast members were Mikee Quintos, AC Bonifacio, Sassa Gurl, and Khalil Ramos.
