Mika Salamanca admits feeling pressured working with Will Ashley in 'Delivery Boi'
Mika Salamanca admits initially feeling pressured while working with Will Ashley in their upcoming project, “Delivery Boi.”
During the GMA Prime Afternoon series’ media conference on Friday, the Sparkle star said she initially felt intimidated by Will, who just won Urian Award for Best Supporting Actor.
“t first, I felt pressured because, naturally, he is incredibly talented. He is an excellent actor—everyone knows that. As someone new to the industry, I feel pressured,” she said in Filipino.
But "Will is very easy to work with," Mika said, and he made her feel comfortable on set, particularly when they were filming scenes together.
“When I’m facing him on camera on the set, you don’t feel that because he guides and supports you,” she said.
“That’s what’s great about him,” Mika added.
“Delivery Boi” premieres on October 19 at 3:20 p.m. on GMA Network.
It follows Boy (Will), a dyslexic delivery rider, in achieving his dreams.
It also stars Vince Maristela, Yasser Mata, Merryl Soriano, Eric Quizon, and more. — LA, GMA News
