Herlene Budol, Ahtisa Manalo, Tom Rodriguez, more stars join cast of 'The Master Cutter' Book 2

Herlene Budol, Ahtisa Manalo, Tom Rodriguez, Benjie Paras, and Andre Paras are joining the cast of the second book of “The Master Cutter.”

The trailer for the upcoming season offered a glimpse of the new characters and developments in the series, including Atoy, played by Dingdong Dantes, taking on a new mission.

“Hindi pa handang mag-retire si Master kaya abangan ang kanyang mas pinatinding mga laban, disguise, at misyon sa THE MASTER CUTTER BOOK 2!” the trailer’s caption said.

The preview also introduces characters portrayed by Herlene, Ahtisa, Tom, Benjie, and Andre.

The second season of “The Master Cutter” will premiere on October 14.

It also stars Max Collins, Sienna Stevens, Charlie Fleming, and more.

KC Montero, who plays the kontrabida Samir, took to Instagram, and said "Never in my wildest dreams did I expect to make it this far in the show."

Expressing his joy about being part of the "incredible production," KC addressed Dingdong's character Atoy and promised him that Samir will come after him.

"It’s no longer business. It’s personal," he said, signing off as Samir.

“The Master Cutter” airs weeknights at 8 p.m. on GMA Prime. It also streams on Netflix.
