Faith Da Silva clarifies Sam Verzosa is not her boyfriend
Faith Da Silva has set the record straight: Sam Verzosa is not her boyfriend.
On Friday’s episode of “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” the actress was asked about the real score between her and Sam.
“He’s not my boyfriend,” the actress said in Filipino.
The “Red Crown” star revealed that she and Sam have known each other for five years.
“We’ve known each other for a long time. And because of him, honestly, so many opportunities opened up for me, thanks to the knowledge he possesses,” she said.
“He taught me about manifestations and affirmations, and because of him, my dreams in life grew even bigger because I realized that nothing in this life is impossible,” she added.
Faith went on to describe their relationship as close, but reiterated that they have yet to enter a romantic relationship.
“We’re very, very close. Especially right now. And we’re still getting to know each other, but he’s not my boyfriend,” she said.
The Sparkle star also described Verzosa as a good mentor, noting that they share similar backgrounds as both are from Manila.
“He’s from Manila, and I’m also from Manila. And the way I see him, it’s like regarding all your dreams, you don’t have to dream small because even the big things—you can achieve them,” she said.
In June, Sam guested on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” where he clarified that he and Faith are just friends.
Sam was previously in a relationship with Rhian Ramos.
It was in March when Rhian confirmed their breakup on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” saying they had been separated since October 2025. She also said that Wil Dasovich had nothing to do with the breakup.
Meanwhile, “Red Crown” is set to premiere nationwide in cinemas on October 28.
