Claudine Barretto seeks, gains forgiveness from Cebu Pacific ground crew

Actress Claudine Barretto has personally apologized to the two ground crew personnel of Cebu Pacific she scolded at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 on May 6 moments before she and her husband, Raymart Santiago, figured in a brawl with columnist Ramon Tulfo.   “I humbled myself. Nag-apologize naman ako sa pagtaas ng boses ko sa kanila habang nag co-complain ako sa Cebu Pacific noon.” Barretto said.   “And tinanggap naman nila yung apology ko so talagang thankful ako pati sa pamilya nila dahil sobra silang warm nilang tinanggap ako,” Barreto added.   According to Claudine, she raised her voice when she learned that the airline offloaded their baggage. She said the crew neglected to properly inform them.   The two ground crew said they had no intention of filing charges against Barretto.   In an interview with GMA News' Nelson Canlas on 24-Oras, Elizabeth Bocboc, one of the stewardesses, explained, “Wala naman akong sinabing magdedemanda, kasi nga, sabi ko nakaka-stress lang kasi yan pag mag dedemanda ka kaya tahimik lang kami, okay lang sa akin na na-express ko yung feelings ko noong time na yun kasi siyempre nasasaktan talaga ako being a mother."   Barretto said she sought and arranged the conciliation meeting and was thankful that the ground crew accepted her apology. She said she now wants to move on and face the other issues related to the NAIA incident. — Andrei Medina/ELR, GMA News
