Tearful Derek Ramsay responds to estranged wife's charges: 'I'm not angry, I'm just hurt'

Derek Ramsay filed his counter-affidavit at the Office of the City Prosecutor in Makati on Wednesday in response to charges of "emotional, psychological and economic abuse" filed by estranged wife Mary Christine Jolly.

 

According to a report by Nelson Canlas of GMA News, the actor was tearful after filing his affidavit, saying that he was protective of his 11-year-old son Austin. "I'm not angry, I'm just hurt," said Ramsay of the charges against him.

 

 

 

Christine is suing Derek for violation RA 9262 or the Anti-Violence against Women and their Children Act. In her complaint affidavit, Christine accused Derek of neglecting financial support for their child and of having a lack of interest for the welfare of his wife and child. She added that he had been ignoring her efforts to make him spend time with his son over the years. — JST, GMA News
