Lea Salonga responds to basher on Twitter over Miss Universe judging stint

Lea Salonga and Manny Pacquiao are two of just five Filipinos to be invited as a judge of the Miss Universe competition.

Despite the status, they haven't been spared from bashing from Filipino fans frustrated over the failure of the country's bets to bring home the crown.

After Mary Jean Lastimosa failed to make the top five of the 63rd edition, where Pacquiao served as judge, of the pageant on Monday, some fans decided to throw some shade at the Filipino ring icon — and even included Lea in the bashing.



But Lea, who served as a judge in 2011, didn't simply take the matter sitting down, putting the basher in his place.
