VIRAL: Pinay Youtube sensation Zendee Tenerefe sings 'Flashlight' duet with Jessie J

Filipina Youtube sensation Zendee Rose Tenerefe had a chance to perform a duet with Grammy-nominated singer Jessie J through an Internet application. 

 

 

Zendee, who burst onto the Internet scene after showing off her talents as a 'random' girl, sang Jessie J's hit "Flashlight," which is part of the official soundtrack of the film "Pitch Perfect 2" starring Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Hailee Steinfield, Brittany Snow, and Skylar Astin, among many others. 

 

The duet was made via Sing! Karaoke from Smule, an American app developer that specializes in developing social music-making applications.

 

Ever since Zendee's talent made it to the attention of the international community via the web, she has gone to prove that Filipinos really are exceptional singers. 

 

After guesting in the American talk show "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," she has also performed with Jason Mraz. She has released her own album, apart from performing in locally and all over Asia. —Bianca Rose Dabu/JST, GMA News
