GMA shows now available for streaming on iflix


Content from GMA Network and GMA News TV will now be available for online streaming via iflix, one of the leading Internet TV services in Southeast Asia.
 
Kapuso subscribers may begin to access an extensive library of Philippine TV programs, documentaries and feature films such as the internationally-acclaimed series "My Husband's Lover," as well as "Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real, "Amaya," and more.
 
Documentaries from the GMA News and Public Affairs team that brought us "i-Witness" and "Pinoy Abroad" will also be available for streaming.
 
Moreover, the collaboration between GMA and iflix has also made way for Catch Up TV, a feature that will allow subscribers to view new episodes from the latest Kapuso shows, whether on TV, laptop, or mobile.
 
Episodes of "The Half Sisters" are already available for streaming within seven days of initial broadcast, with "My Faithful Husband," "Beautiful Strangers," and "Pari 'Koy" to follow soon.

Following its launch in the Philippines and Malaysia in late May, iflix will soon be available in Thailand before the end of August, and in Vietnam and Indonesia next year.
 
In no more than 75 days, iflix has gained almost 155,000 subscribers, with millions of minutes of online streaming daily.
 
Offline viewing
 
iflix is currently working on its offline viewing feature as well as streaming high definition content to cater to the demand of its subscribers and the majority of Southeast Asian viewers.
 
Before the end of the month, the company hopes to launch a new feature that lets the subscriber download from an extensive library of local and international TV programs and films and be able to watch later on while offline.
 
Modes of payment
 
Different modes of payment methods will also be available.
 
Right now, subscribers may pay via credit card, while postpaid subscribers of Smart, Sun and PLDT will be charged a discounted amount on top of their bill. More information on available promos and bundle packages can be viewed on iflix's website.
 
The company is currently partnering with several banking corporations to make debit payment available.
 
For P129/month or P1,300/year, iflix subscribers may enjoy unlimited access to ten of thousands of hours of entertainment from the most in-demand local and international content.
 
iflix is available for both iPhone and Android devices, and may be connected to television sets and laptops.
