A photo apparently featuring the popular Eat Bulaga pairing is making the rounds on social media, leading to much speculation from AlDub fans.

 

 

She was known to everyone then as Maine Mendoza, while he still went by his real name.

 

"Alden was indeed at the Candy Fair in 2010 and he was actually known as Richard Faulkerson back then. Or RJ as he mentions in this video. :P" according to a post on CandyMag.com.

 

 

The post added that contrary to speculation online, Alden was not just an "extra" at the fair, but was a member of that year's Candy Cuties who were at the event to interact with readers.

 

Meanwhile, editors at the magazine said it cannot confirm that it is indeed Maine in the photo, but a tweet from her account from those days indicated that she attended the event — and didn't like how blurred her photos were.

 

 

Photos, perhaps, like the one she took with her future love interest?
