AlDub fans heartbroken by latest #KalyeSerye, praise Wally's dramatic performance

AlDub was again the most-discuss topic on social media on Friday, with #ALDUBKeepTheFaith topping the trending topics list in both the Philippines and worldwide.

But instead of the usual kilig moments, the latest episode of Eat Bulaga's kalye-serye gave fans some of its most heartbreaking scenes.

Lola Nidora gave an emotional speech asking Alden to give up Yaya Dub, leaving the heartthrob in tears.

The scenes, unusual for the usually funny segment on the noontime show, led to a torrent of Twitter posts from fans expressing how much they were affected.
