Why Megan was in tears after speaking with Marian

The two Filipina actresses who have played Marimar met face-to-face on Sunday.

Marian Rivera, who first reprised the iconic role originally played by Mexican actress Thalia, met Megan Young on the latest episode of "Sunday Pinasaya."

The Kapuso Primetime Queen had a conversation with Megan about the role, which left the latter in tears.

"Aaaaaw! Thank you so much Ate Yan for the kind gesture," Megan wrote in a post on Instagram. "I am trying to hide my crying face (kasi mukha akong baby pag umiiyak HAHAHAHA)! You are truly a woman beautiful inside and out. I will always keep in mind our little convo right before we got off the stage hehe! Love you and congrats to you and Kuya Dong with your baby."
