How Tito, Vic, and Joey are part of the first AlDub commercial

The first commercial for the phenomenal AlDub pairing aired on Eat Bulaga on Friday, leading to much celebration from fans of social media.

But Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza were not the only people from the long-running noontime show who figured in the ad.

The commercial featured the duo singing along to "Ikaw Lang Ang Aking Mahal" — which is a Tito, Vic, and Joey collaboration.

As Joey De Leon himself noted on air and on Twitter, it was he who wrote the lyrics to the song, while Tito composed the music.

Meanwhile, the song was originally performed by VST and Co., which had Vic Sotto as its lead vocalist. —JST, GMA News
