Fil-Aussie Cyrus Villanueva rules X-Factor Australia
For the second straight year, a Filipino-Australian contestant is the big winner of X-Factor Australia.
Singer Cyrus Villanueva won the contest on Tuesday night, following the footsteps of Marlisa Punzalan ruled the competition last year.
The Wollongong native performed the Labrinth song “Jealous” for his final piece, leaving his mentor Chris Isaak in tears.
Praise for the talented 19-year-old came instantly on social media as soon as the winner was announced.
