Jennylyn Mercado reveals working with John Lloyd as an extra in past project

Jennylyn Mercado has gained acclaim for her roles in a series of romantic comedy projects over the past two years.

This year, she will star with John Lloyd Cruz in "Just the Three of Us," another rom-com that promises to tickle the hearts of fans.

But what most people don't know is that she has worked with John Lloyd before.

In an interview with PEP.ph, Jen reveals that she had a bit role in a teleserye topbilled by John Lloyd before she joined StarStruck.

"Kasi hindi ko alam kung naalala ni Lloydie yun. Kasi nag-extra ako dati. Tinawagan ako nung manager ko sabi niya, 'Baka puwede kang mag-extra dun sa soap nila ni Bea [Alonzo], yung Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay. E, wala akong alam, hindi talaga ako umaarte. Tapos may kissing scene pa nga tayo nun!" Jennylyn said.

"Iba pa itsura ko nun, maitim na mahabang buhok. Tapos medyo morena ako, ngayon kasi maputi na ako."

After that, Jennylyn went on to become the first Ultimate Female Survivor on StarStruck... and the rest is history. —JST, GMA News
