Cai Cortez announces pregnancy one month after wedding

Masayang inanunsyo ng kilalang aktres na si Cai Cortez ang kaniyang pagbubuntis nitong Lunes, isang buwan matapos siyang ikasal sa kasintahang si Wissem Rkhami sa isang civil ceremony.

Kasabay ng kaniyang pagbabahagi ng magandang balita, nagpasalamat rin si Cai sa mga naging bahagi ng kanilang espesyal na araw noong nakaraang Hulyo.

“Tomorrow marks the first month that we have been together as husband and wife. The happiest month of my life. And the greatest decision I have ever made. We were planning to just have a small ceremony. Just you, me, my immediate family, your adopted family in the form of your friends, chosen witnesses, and of course, the very important guest who had a front seat in my belly,” aniya.

Ayon kay Cai, nakatakda silang magkaroon ng isang baby boy.

Pagpapatuloy ng aktres, “Our plan was just to get civilly-married in our store-bought clothes, go to Manila City Hall and forever be one. We weren't planning for anything grandiose because we wanted to have the big celebration once our baby boy has arrived, but thanks to very thoughtful people we had just that.”

Maliban sa mga naging bahagi ng pagbuo ng seremonya, mula sa gumawa ng wedding gown, bouquet, at naging wedding photographer, nagpasalamat rin si Cai sa kaniyang mga magulang na sina Rez at Candy Cortez, pati na sa mga mahal niya sa buhay na buo ang suporta at pagmamahal para sa kanilang mag-asawa.

“To my parents who were there for us every step of the way, we wouldn't be here without your guidance. To Wissem's family though they were not there physically, I know that they were there spiritually. From day one, they didn't waste any time to make me feel part of the family,” aniya.

Pagtatapos na mensahe niya para sa kabiyak, “And to you, the love of my life, thank you for loving me the way you do. A single glance from you makes me feel safe and complete. I couldn't ask for a better man to be the father of my Hbib. You will be a great father because I know that you are an amazing husband. I love you dubb!”

Kabilang si Cai sa mga gumanap sa “Imagine You & Me,” ang kauna-unahang solo movie ng phenomenal Kalyeserye stars na sina Maine Mendoza at Alden Richards na ipinalabas sa mga sinehan sa iba't ibang bahagi ng mundo nitong Hulyo. —Bianca Rose Dabu/JST, GMA News
