Heart joins Duterte delegation in Vietnam

Kapuso actress Heart Evangelista joined the Philippine delegation to Vietnam on Wednesday as part of President Rodrigo Duterte's visit to the Southeast Asian neighbor.

Heart's husband Senator Chiz Escudero is one of two senators who are part of the delegation.

Previously, Heart got to know the president when they met at a gathering earlier this month.

“He was very, very kind. I didn't expect him to be so very sweet, soft-spoken. He funny and very gracious. It was very normal. In the beginning, I was very nervous to meet him. Who gets to meet the President like that? But it was very casual. He was very normal. I appreciated it. Parang hindi siya Presidente,” Heart said about the earlier meeting. —JST, GMA News
