Baste Duterte on dad Digong's Ellen tirade: Chill lang Pa, break na kami

Presidential son Sebastian "Baste" Duterte took to Facebook to respond to the tirade of his father, President Rodrigo Duterte, about his relationship with actress Ellen Adarna.

In a Facebook post, Baste said he already informed his father that his relationship with Adarna ended last month.

"I really love being his favorite son. Chill lang Pa, bulag na mi december pa, nakalimot lang ka giingnan taka atong new year naa ta sa balay ni mama," he said.

"(I really love being his favorite son. Chill lang Pa, hiwalay na kami december pa, nakalimutan mong sinabihan kita noong New Year nasa bahay tayo ni Mama.)"

In a speech in Davao City on Thursday, Duterte took a swipe at Baste over the relationship, saying it has affected the family.

"Ang isang bunso, isa pa ring tarantado. Hindi na umuuwi ng bahay. Sige lang doon kay Adarna," he said as the crowd laughed.

He said that even his grandchild does not have a close relationship with Baste.

"Tinanong ko iyong apo ko eh. Kaya ko kinuha, nilagay ko sa bahay na maliit, iyong katabi lang din ng bahay ko... 'Sinong mahal mo? Papa mo at pati mama mo?' 'Mama lang.' It's a tragedy. Magsagot ang bata ng ganoon," he said.

Baste is Duterte's youngest son with his first wife Elizabeth Zimmerman.

Adarna recently confirmed the end of her relationship with the younger Duterte. —Trisha Macas/JST/BAP, GMA News
