Be cast in Erik Matti’s ‘On The Job’ sequel and series!

Filming for the sequel and series to Erik Matti’s 2013 movie ‘On The Job’ (OTJ) is underway—but the acclaimed director is looking for more actors to join his projects.

The OTJ Open Casting Call invites talents to show their acting chops for a chance to land a role in either ‘On The Job 2’ or ‘On The Job: The Series.’

For those who have what it takes to be part of the action-packed movie and series, submit a video of yourself performing one of the character monologues posted in the OTJ Open Casting Call website . A panel of esteemed judges will screen the entries. Participants with the best ones will be invited to the Globe Iconic Store for a live audition on August 5, 2017.

The selected actors will share screen time with an all-star cast, perform under the vision of renowned director Matti, and be seen in the largest video on demand (VoD) service in Southeast Asia, HOOQ!

‘On The Job 2’ will be released as a full-length movie on HOOQ. It will serve as the pilot of ‘On The Job: The Series,’ which will also debut on the VoD platform. The movie and series, much like the 2013 thrilling drama, tackles Filipino societal issues including crime, deceit, and poverty.

Matti’s projects are part of HOOQ’s original productions set to roll out this year, as it focuses more on local Asian stories. “There is a huge thirst for high quality, unique Asian stories told from an Asian perspective,” says HOOQ chief executive officer Peter Bithos. “We aim to satisfy this with HOOQ Originals on our platform.”
