Maine defends Gabbi Garcia: ‘Wag na gawan ng issue. She is actually a nice person!’

On Twitter Sunday, Maine Mendoza defended Kapuso actor Gabbi Garcia over the latter allegedly snubbing Maine at the “Bench: Under the Stars” event last Saturday.

“Hi guys, please do not bash Gabbi,” Maine began, explaining the snubbing wasn’t intentional. “Sana wag na gawan ng issue. She is actually a nice person! Ang totoo niyan, siya pa nga yung palaging lumalapit at bumabati sa akin.”

A fan video from the Saturday show surfaced, where Gabbi, who was behind Maine, was minding her own business — as was Maine.

Maine’s fans quickly took notice of Gabbi’s carefree behavior, thought it wrong, and started bashing the young one.

Before things blew out of proportion, however, Maine defended the Kapuso star.
Though not tagged, Gabbi took notice of Maine’s gracious behavior and thanked her.
