Gary V is on his way home

Just a week after his heart surgery, Gary Valenciano is on his way home.

His wife and talent manager Angeli Pangilinan kept fans and followers updated by posting several photos of Mr. Pure Energy’s recovery, and on Sunday morning — Mother’s Day — Angeli said Gary V is checking out of the hospital.

“Last tube out! ‘Let’s get this guy home,’ the cardiologist dr. Enrique Posas said,” Angeli captioned a photo of, presumably, Gary’s arm.

In another post, Angeli said Gary had to go to the Coronary Care Unit Saturday “for yet another challenge yesterday but overnight he conquered it.”

 

Gary has always had unbelievable challenges. He was born and went straight to an incubator as he almost died, having been 10 months in his mom’s womb. When everything was coming up roses, he had to go to the CCU again for yet another challenge yesterday but overnight he conquered it and it so happened that @gabvalenciano was the “bantay” last night overnight at the coronary ICU. So I was able to sleep! yey! What a wonderful mother’s day present from the Lord ! Walking in the hospital corridors on his way to the 16th floor to thank the nurses and doctors who took care of him... I could only praise God for his sweet surprises. Time to go home and renew his energy. And His timing is so wonderful - he is coming home on Mother’s Day! God is good. #garyvisgoinghome #garyvalenciano #thevalencianos

Before leaving the hospital, Gary took to Instagram to inform his fans and followers he was going home. "Time to press the reset button, no the pause button and recuperate quite a bit," he said.

He also made his rounds in the hospital to thank his nurses and doctors. “Time to go home and renew his energy. And His timing is so wonderful – he is coming home on Mother’s Day!” Angeli exclaimed.

In his Instagram Stories, Gary's son Gab posted several photos of Gary's last night in the hospital. His last post was of Gary, presumably waiting for the elevator and captioned it, "time to go home".
