Alexander Lee thinks Heart Evangelista's miscarriage will only make her stronger

Kapuso Korean actor Alexander Lee was worried about My Korean Jagiya co-star Heart Evangelista when he learned she suffered from a miscarriage.

At the press conference of his latest musical outing, "AXM", at KPub BBQ in Trinoma, he said he thinks this challenge will only make his friend Heart stronger.

Before Heart's miscarriage, Alexander said he was able to talk and see Heart through a video call. When he heard the news later on, he left a message, respecting Heart's alone time.

"So the last time I saw her was actually through a video call before that incident happened, after I heard about it, personally I know how it feels like when you want to have your alone time, so I just texted her."

He said he believes his friend will become a mom in God's perfect timing.

"All I truly believe is in God's timing, when God's timing is correct, she will be a mom, I hope she won't be sad and disappointed."

Alexander said he believes a difficult situation like this will only make someone like Heart grow stronger.

"And honestly, my personal thinking, her life is too perfect this kind of little thing is just gonna make her stronger, like a human, now she's like a Disney princess, she's so blessed with a nice family, so ganda, everyhting, so this little thing will just make her stronger."

 

One thing I really thank God is that I was able to meet a co-worker who was such a blessing to me. A real-life princess, with a successful career, with an amazing marriage, with an interesting life, etc. With all these conditions, normally a woman would be proud, snobbish and perhaps even b*tchy. When asked if he would want to work with Heart again, Alexander was quick to nod and said he learned so much from Heart about showbiz and life.

"Definitely! With Heart, I always want to work with her again, because working with her, it's not just working. I learn so much from her about showbiz, about life, she would give me advice, she's a very mature sunbae like senior"

Alexander also shared that he got to spend some time with Heart's husband Senator Chiz Escudero and his daughter, when they flew to Korea to catch the concert of Korean boy group Seventeen.

"Yeah, because his daughter came to watch Seventeen concert in Korea so we just met up and had a nice barbecue together."

"Actually, we went around Korea in a car to see different place cause it was rainy season, so sayang naman. We were looking around, we tried to show them around," he added.

Alexander said Heart wasn't able to join them since she was in France spending some alone time.

"Heart was in France, she need her alone time, I guess to relax after all the stress, I haven't seen her yet, hopefully next week."

The two first worked on My Korean Jagiya last year and quickly became friends. Heart even hosted a lavish birthday dinner for Alexander then. — LA, GMA News
