Gabby Concepcion to star in MMFF entry with two leading ladies
Kapuso star Gabby Concepcion on Monday revealed that he is part of a movie remake of "Gulong Ng Palad," to be entered at this year's Metro Manila Film Festival.
"Meron kaming ginagawa ngayon for MMFF, well ang working title namin is Gulong Ng Palad," Concepcion told reporters at the renewal of his contract with GMA Network.
The star said that as someone who started his career doing films, he has missed being in one. However, he added, he is also becoming more comfortable doing projects for the small screen.
"Sobra, na-miss ko gumawa ng pelikula; doon ako nagsimula. Pero nakakasanayan ko na ang TV, at relax na rin ako sa TV," he said.
Concepcion also said that what makes his upcoming film even more exciting is that it will be helmed by his "Ika-6 Na Utos" director Laurice Guillen.
Without dropping names, Gabby said he will be paired with two new leading ladies he has never worked with before.
"Itong makakasama ko sa MMFF, bagong tandem naming dalawa, dalawa silang bago kong makakasama," he said.
On Instagram, actress and Guillen's daughter Ina Feleo shared a photo with the cast of the upcoming MMFF entry, including fellow Kapuso actor Edgar Allan Guzman, Jodi Sta. Maria, and Denise Laurel.
