Hollywood actor Nico Santos invites Pinoys to watch Crazy Rich Asians


Filipino-American actor Nico Santos is part of the all-Asian cast of the Hollywood film "Crazy Rich Asians."

In a video, Nico invited his "kababayans" to watch the film.

"Kamusta Philippines, Nico Santos po para sa Crazy Rich Asians, kuwento po ito ng pamilya, pag-ibig at lahat ng drama at saya sa loob nito," Nico said.

As a Pinoy actor working in Hollywood, Nico said he is a proud to be a part of a big film.

 

 

"As a Filipino actor I'm proud to be a part of an all-Asian cast in a big Hollywood movie and I can't wait to show this film to you," he said.

"Kita kita po tayo sa Crazy Rich Asians, palabas na sa August 22 in Philippine cinemas nationwide," he added.

Nico will play as Oliver T'sien, a friendly and fashionable cousin of Nick Young (Henry Goulding) who will have the back of Rachel Chu (Constance Wu) and guide her through the life of Nick's high-profile family in Singapore.

The actor was born in Manila before his family moved to the United States when he was 16. Known best for his role in the American sitcom Superstore, he also appeared in TV series including 2 Broke Girls and Go-Go Boy Interrupted and the film Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2.
