Maine Mendoza makes it on the top 5 of Starmometer's '100 Asian Sweethearts'

Phenomenal star Maine Mendoza made it to the top 5 list of Starmometer's "100 Asian Sweethearts."

In a report on Balitanghali on Wednesday, Nelson Canlas said Maine herself couldn't believe that she made it to the list along with other beautiful Asian celebrities.

"Hindi ko naman deserve yung title, Asia's Sweetheart," Maine said, sharing her thoughts on what title suits her better.  

"Kung Kalye sweetheart o kaya Barangay sweetheart pwede pero 'yong Asia's sweetheart parang too much naman po."

Despite feeling undeserving of the title, Maine said she is thankful to her fans who have put an effort to cast their votes.

"Sobrang na-appreciate ko na nakasama ako sa top 5, eh 'yong effort ng mga fans po na talagang bumoto na talagang nagpuyat," she added. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
