Top 6 Clashers ready for Sunday's finals night

The top 6 finalists  of "The Clash" are ready to hit the stage for the Sunday's finals night.

According to Cata Tibayan's report on 24 Oras Weekend, Anthony Rosaldo, Garrett Bolden, Golden Cañedo, Jong Madaliday, Josh Adornado and Mirriam Manalo have prepared a surprise for their number in the finale, though what it is, none of them are telling.

Instead, they've let us in on what's going on in their minds ahead of the competition.

For Garret, it's overcoming the challenges of being on stage. "Unang una 'yong maniwala sa sarili. Pangalawa po 'yong focus, kasi sobrang dami po nung challenges na hinaharap namin, every time na humaharap kami sa stage.

Jong, on the other hand, looks to his mother as inspiration.

"Matagal kaming tinaguyod ng nanay ko sa abroad then gusto ko kumbaga palitan 'yon, pagbayaran 'yong pagod na dinanas niya," he said.

Golden meanwhile has said she's stopped thinking of "The Clash" as a competition. "Iniisip ko na lang po na kakanta ako. Walang battle."

For Anthony, he sees this as a window to opportunities in the showbiz industry.

"I can experiment, maybe I can do acting also. Hindi ko po kino-close yung doors kasi gusto ko po talgang mag-entertain ng tao iba po, 'yong happiness na binibigay sa 'kin ng makita po 'yong lahat ng tao na nakangiti tapos pumapalakpak," he said.

But it's not without challenges, of course. Josh, for instance, admitted to needing "total vocal rest" as his voice is still quite hoarse. "I'm sure God will guide me until Sunday. Siya na ang mag-hi-heal saakin," he said.

Mirriam revealed that The Clashers have their own joke that whoever wins will have to share their blessings with the rest of the finalists.

"Meron kaming kanya-kanyang wish list. Kapag nanalo ka, kailangan bigyan mo ko ng ganito, bigyan mo ko ng cellphone, si Jong nga gumawa talaga siya ng listahan, kulang na lang pa-pirmahan niya sila," she said.

According to "The Clash" host Regine Velasquez, it's best to select the winner based on the finals night performance.

"Ang sa 'kin kung sino na lang yung, who will perform well that day because as far as who's magaling, all of them are and the thing is they got even better," she said.

Good luck everyone! — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
