Kris on Mayor Herbert: ‘We missed the chance’

In a video posted to her Facebook page Wednesday, Kris Aquino let out a few truth bombs about politics and her ex, Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista.

After reiterating that she isn’t running in 2019 and 2022, Kris gamely answered questions about her relations to the good mayor.

According to the Queen of All Media, there really isn’t anything to look forward to for them in the future. “I think we missed the chance and I think when the chance was there, we both were not ready,” Kris said.

She explained that there really is no way for them to have a future because she chose to sign an endorsement deal with a multi-national that prohibits politics. “Bawal ang pulitiko, kahit i-boyfriend,” Kris explained.

Later in the interview, Kris clarified that she’s not friends with Herbert anymore. “We’re not friends now. We do not talk anymore. That’s why nagtapos siya nang maayos, and I don’t think I can say that about anybody else. I never had a good closure pero sa kanya, maganda yung closure.”

Kris emphasized that it was very clean break between the two of them. “Natapos nang maayos at walang epilogue.”

When asked if there was a title she would gladly give Herbert or a category she’s place him in — whether it be True Love or Greatest Love — Kris paused and said “He’s the only one who ended [things] properly. At least, puwede nating sabihin, nag-iisa siya duon. At siya siguro yung isa na at least who doesn’t hate me. Everybody else hates me.” — La, GMA News
