Pops Fernandez to serve as judge in CBS's new global talent search, ‘The World's Best’
Concert Queen Pops Fernandez proudly announced that she will be one of the judges representing the Philippines for CBS' newest international talent search "The World's Best."
Pops in an Instagram post Friday announced that she is part of the 50 "Wall of the World" judges in the show hosted by James Corden. She will join three other superstar judges: Drew Barrymore, RuPaul and Faith Hill.
"Aside from these world famous artists, I got to meet 49 of the best talents from all over the world!!! This is definitely ... the Best of the Best shows!" Pops wrote.
"The World's Best" is a first-of-its-kind global talent competition. It will feature acts from every genre imaginable, from every corner of the planet, CBS revealed.
Talents will have to impress not only the all-star line-up of Barrymore, RuPaul and Hill, but they will also need to wow experts from every field of entertainment in the "Wall of the World" portion.
Only one performance will ultimately be hailed "The World's Best."
Mike Darnell ("American Idol", "Hell’s Kitchen", "MasterChef", "So You Think You Can Dance", "The X Factor", "Kitchen Nightmares") and Mark Burnett ("The Voice" and "Survivor") are the show's executive producers.
The show will premiere in the US on February 3 right after the Super Bowl on CBS.
