Dads of Mikee Quintos and Jason Abalos win as councilors for local elections

Dads of Kapuso actors Mikee Quintos and Jason Abalos have won as councilors in their respective areas.

Mikee's father Wardee Quintos ran as a councilor in Manila City's fourth district and has earned a seat with 57,687 votes.

On her Instagram Stories, the Kapuso star posted a video clip of when her father was officially declared as councilor by the city board of canvasses.

She also congratulated her father with a sweet photo.

Meanwhile, Jason's father Popoy Abalos is at the top spot for councilor in Nueva Ecija's second provincial district with 82,865 votes.

Abalos posted a photo of himself with his father and in the caption, thanked their supporters.

"Iba talaga si Lord pag ginusto niya mangyari  maraming salamat po sa lahat ng sumuporta. Ang number 1 namin na Ama ay number 1 din sa ating distrito maraming maraming salamat po district 2, Nueva Ecija," Jason wrote in the caption of his IG post.
