'Family History' will make you cry and laugh, Michael V. says

Kapuso comedy genius Michael V., who wrote, directed and produced  "Family History" himself, promised that the film will make audiences cry and laugh at the same time.

The film revolves around Alex Dela Cruz (Michael V) who is happily married to May (Dawn Zulueta) until a life-changing disease challenges both his family and his marriage.

At first, the plot sounds very heavy and dramatic, but Michael V. promised viewers can expect a peppering of comedic scenes.

"Of course dahil nga ako 'yung involved dito, hindi naman ako papayag na walang comedic scenes," Michael V said. "Siyempre ang comedy, hindi mawawala sa kahit anong ginagawa ko, mapakanta yan mapa tv show, mapa pelikula."

He added, "May magsasabing tamang-tama 'yan kasi mayroong times na iiyak ka then tatawa ka then vice versa."

Along with Michael V and Dawn Zulueta, Bianca Umali, Miguel Tanfelix, Paolo Contis, Ina Feleo and John Estrada will also be starring in the film.
