Jennylyn Mercado, Coco Martin movie has officially started shooting

Filming has started on a movie starring Kapuso actress Jennylyn Mercado and actor Coco Martin.

"'Yung movie with Coco nag-start na ng shoot. Six days na sila, two days ako," revealed Mercado during a Friday media conference.

The movie, which also stars Ai-Ai Delas Alas, had both action and comedy elements.

"Masaya naman sa set magaan naman 'yung theme ng movie," Mercado added.

This film recipe, in which actors from different networks work together, is not new.

Just this year, films like "Elise" starring Enchong Dee and Janine Gutierrez hit cinemas nationwide, and the upcoming film "Hello, Love, Goodbye" starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards is soon to be released on July 31.

However, details about Jennylyn and Coco's film release is yet to be announced. — DVM, GMA News
