Sharon Cuneta surprises Rhea Santos on ‘Wish Ko Lang’

Megastar Sharon Cuneta surprised Rhea Santos on "Wish Ko Lang" days before the television presenter and her family were to leave for Canada to start a new chapter in their lives.

Rhea, who is an avid Sharonian, was teary-eyed when she saw her idol.

She also had a chance to do a scene with Sharon and sing a duet from "Bituing Walang Ningning" during their surprise meetup.

Thanks to Vicky Morales, I was able to surprise Rhea Santos on Wish Ko Lang before she and her beautiful family left for Canada for good. We will miss you, Rhea! (Though I am a Kapamilya, I refuse to be a part of the Network Wars. All stations, especially GMA, have helped me to become what I have in my career. And I was a Kapuso for a long time in my younger years, and so I have a loving family there too!) Cuneta also thanked "Wisho Ko Lang" host Vicky Morales for giving her the opportunity to surprise Santos before she left.

In the "Wish Ko Lang" episode, Rhea said she was a fan of the Megastar, whom she called a "superwoman."

"She's amazing, ang ganda ng boses, well-loved ng mga tao, ang galing galing umarte. I wasn't given the chance to really know her personally 'yong malaliman talaga. I'm a fan," Rhea said.

Sharon also revealed she always knew that Rhea is a Sharonian that's why she volunteered to be a godmother to one of her sons.
